Spatial distribution and environmental attributes dataset of large-scale data centers in China

This dataset documents the spatial distribution, multi-dimensional environmental characteristics, and visual samples of large-scale data centers across China. It consists of three core components:Verified geographic locations of large-scale data centers from multi-source POI records;Spatial probability surfaces of data center distribution derived from Random Forest classification models;Representative satellite images of data center rooftops, with one typical image clipped for each province, obtained from Google Earth.Attributed environmental variables include longitude, latitude, temperature, precipitation, elevation, and operational type. All geographic data follow a unified spatial reference (WGS84/UTM Zone 50N) and use 2024 as the temporal baseline. This dataset supports spatial pattern analysis, environmental suitability assessment, remote sensing identification, and model validation in studies of data center geography and distribution.

本数据集记录了中国境内大型数据中心的空间分布特征、多维度环境属性及可视化样本。数据集包含三大核心组成部分：一是源自多来源兴趣点（POI，Point of Interest）记录、经核验的大型数据中心地理坐标；二是基于随机森林（Random Forest）分类模型推导得到的数据中心分布空间概率曲面；三是代表性数据中心屋顶卫星影像：从谷歌地球（Google Earth）获取，每个省份截取一张典型影像。数据集附带的环境属性变量涵盖经度、纬度、气温、降水量、海拔及运营类型。所有地理数据均采用统一空间参考系WGS84/UTM Zone 50N，时间基准设定为2024年。本数据集可支撑数据中心地理学与分布研究中的空间格局分析、环境适宜性评估、遥感识别及模型验证等研究工作。
