This dataset contains natural history specimen data for coral taxonomy research, including information associated with specimen collectors and identifiers, and covers the reinvestigation of the type species Cespitularia stolonifera and the description of new genera and species. The data was curated by Bionomia volunteers, aggregated from specimen data of the Global Biodiversity Information Facility (GBIF), organized in the Frictionless Data package format, and comprises a total of 9 files. Curated by Bionomia volunteer Scribes, the data is aggregated from specimen data of the Global Biodiversity Information Facility (GBIF).
