Federal Emergency Management Agency Regions This feature layer, utilizing data from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), provides information on the agency's administrative regions in the United States. Per FEMA, there are “ten regional offices that work directly with states, territories and tribes." These offices provide access to resources such as risk mapping, hazard mitigation assistance, preparedness grants and floodplain management training. These resources are designed to help communities prepare for, respond to, and recover from disasters more effectively.
