This project involved the sequencing of the transcriptome of Shewanella psychrophila WP2 when grown at the organism's optimal growth temperature (15 C), a supraoptimal growth temperature (20 C), and an environmentally relevant temperature (4 C). Samples were taken and sequenced during early log phase, late log phase, and stationary phase growth for each temperature. These transcriptomes provide a survey of the temperature-dependent changes in gene expression in Shewanella psychrophila WP2 and contribute to the broader understanding of how psychrophilic bacteria respond to changes in the environment.
本研究对嗜冷希瓦氏菌WP2(Shewanella psychrophila WP2)在三种温度条件下的转录组开展测序:分别在该菌株的最优生长温度(15℃)、超最优生长温度(20℃)以及环境相关温度(4℃)下进行培养。针对每种温度条件,均在细菌生长的对数早期、对数晚期及稳定期三个阶段采集样本并完成测序。本转录组数据可系统解析嗜冷希瓦氏菌WP2中温度依赖性基因表达变化,为深化嗜冷细菌响应环境温度变化的机制研究提供重要支撑。
