2D attenuation model of Long Valley (CA)

We image seismic intrinsic (Qi-1) and scattering (Qs-1) attenuation in Long Valley caldera, California, by analyzing more than 1700 vertical-component waveforms from local earthquakes. Observed energy envelopes are fit to the diffusion model (data files) and seismic attenuation images (anomalies files) are produced using two-dimensional space-weighting functions.本研究针对加利福尼亚州长谷火山口区域，通过分析逾1700条垂直分量地方震波形，对该区域的地震固有衰减（Qi-1）与散射衰减（Qs-1）开展成像研究。将观测得到的能量包络拟合至扩散模型（数据文件），并借助二维空间加权函数生成地震衰减图像（异常文件）。
