We provide a new psoriasis mouse model which is induced by p38 activation in skin. We compared the individual transcriptomic profiles of anisomycin and imiquimod-induced dermatitis. We used microarrays to compare the gene expression pattern between anisomycin- and imiquimod- induced dermatitis. Overall design: Total RNAs prepared from the ears of mice treated with anisomycin and IMQ for 5 consecutive days (n = 3) were subjected to the microarray analysis. An amplified sense-strand DNA product was synthesized with the Ambion WT Expression Kit (Life Technologies, Carlsbad, CA), was fragmented and labelled by the WT Terminal Labelling and Controls Kit (Affymetrix, Santa Clara, CA) and was hybridized to a Mouse Gene 1.0 ST Array (Affymetrix).
