ARETA (Alpine caRbon cyclE daTAbase) is a geo-database containing more than 3000 chemical analyses (major ions) of Alpine spring waters obtained both from the literature (technical reports, scientific publications, books, and other bibliographic sources) and from unpublished data collected during 2011-2022 fieldworks. For less than 20% of spring waters, analysis of the isotopic composition of water and carbon were also included, as well as flow rate values.

ARETA（阿尔卑斯碳循环数据库，Alpine caRbon cyclE daTAbase）是一款地理数据库（geo-database），收录了超过3000组阿尔卑斯山区泉水的主要离子化学分析数据。其数据来源包括已发表文献（技术报告、科学出版物、书籍及其他书目资源），以及2011至2022年野外工作中采集的未公开数据。针对不足20%的泉水样本，该数据库同时收录了水体与碳的同位素组成分析结果及流速监测数值。
