As of June 2024, Italy was the leading outbound travel market for Malta based on the growth in travel demand on Google in the previous 30 and 90 days. According to the analysis, the Google search volume recorded in Malta concerning flights and accommodation in Italy rose by around 25.4 percent over the last 30 days and by roughly 24.8 percent over the previous 90 days.
