Replication data for research article: Where I live is what I do – The potential of residential choices to determine energy use and travel behaviour of Norwegian movers

“Relocation, Mobility and Energy Consumption” is a questionnaire survey among homebuyers in Trondheim, conducted from February 2023 to February 2024 (N = 309). The survey covers residential choices among homebuyers, location characteristics of the previous and the new dwelling, housing preferences and sociodemographic characteristics. The data are enriched with information on residential neighbourhood cluster membership and proximity to the city centre, calculated using GIS analysis.

The questionnaire and responses were provided in both English and Norwegian. The documentation is in English, but the response language is recorded. The study is licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International.

“迁居、流动与能源消耗”（Relocation, Mobility and Energy Consumption）是2023年2月至2024年2月间针对挪威特隆赫姆（Trondheim）购房者开展的问卷调查研究，样本量为309。该调研涵盖购房者的住宅选择行为、新旧住宅的区位特征、住房偏好及社会人口学特征。数据集额外补充了居住社区集群归属与到市中心的邻近程度信息，上述信息通过地理信息系统（GIS）分析计算得出。
本次调研的问卷及回收答卷同时提供英文与挪威语版本；调研文档采用英文撰写，但会记录受访者的作答语言。本研究采用知识共享署名4.0国际许可协议（Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International）进行授权。
