In eukaryotic cells, LAI-1 (directly or indirectly) inhibits or prevents the activation of the Cdc42-specific GEF ARHGEF9, which in turn prevents the IQGAP1-dependent activation of Cdc42. The host cell might detect extracellular and/or intracellular LAI-1.
在真核细胞中,LAI-1可直接或间接抑制或阻断Cdc42特异性鸟苷酸交换因子(Guanine nucleotide exchange factor,GEF)ARHGEF9的激活,进而阻止依赖IQGAP1的Cdc42激活过程。宿主细胞可检测到胞外及/或胞内的LAI-1。
