Chicken immune response to Salmonella infection

This project aims at understanding the host immune mechanisms during Salmonella infection in chickens. We want to find out the gene expression difference between chicken breeds and among different time. The first stage we used Salmonella Pullorum to infected three chicken breeds. Spleen RNA were extracted and sequenced on the Illumina Hiseq 2500 platform.本项目旨在解析鸡感染沙门氏菌（Salmonella）过程中的宿主免疫机制。本研究旨在明确不同鸡品种间以及不同感染时间点的基因表达差异。第一阶段实验中，我们使用鸡白痢沙门氏菌（Salmonella Pullorum）感染了三个鸡品种。随后提取脾脏组织RNA，并在Illumina Hiseq 2500平台上进行测序。
