Surface prokaryotic community in South China Sea Raw sequence reads

The project was conducted by the research teams of Prof. Zheng Qiang from Xiamen University and Prof. Huang Sijun from the South China Sea Institute of Oceanology. A total of 52 samples were collected, focusing on the period from July to September from 2018 to 2020. The spatial coverage spanned most of the South China Sea, with sample particle sizes ranging from 0.22um to 20um. The amplification primers used were 515F (5'-GTGCCAGCMGCCGCGGTAA-3'), and 907R (5'-CCGYCAATTYMTTTRAGTTT-3').

本项目由厦门大学郑强教授与中国科学院南海海洋研究所黄思军教授的研究团队联合开展。共采集得到52份样本，采样时段覆盖2018年至2020年的7月至9月。样本的空间覆盖范围涵盖南海大部分海域，粒径区间为0.22微米至20微米。所用扩增引物为515F（5'-GTGCCAGCMGCCGCGGTAA-3'）与907R（5'-CCGYCAATTYMTTTRAGTTT-3'）。
