Mapping the literature on prehabilitation for bariatric surgeries: a bibliometric analysis

Bibliometric review aimed at comprehensively mapping the scientific production on prehabilitation programs for bariatric surgery. The search was conducted in eight databases (PsycNet, Cochrane, EMBASE, LILACS, PubMed, ScienceDirect, Scopus, and Web of Science) and in grey literature sources (Google Scholar), including all studies published up to March 2025. Study selection, according to predefined eligibility criteria, was conducted independently by two researchers, with a third reviewer consulted in case of disagreement. The process was carried out in two sequential stages: title and abstract screening, followed by full-text reading of potentially relevant studies. For this procedure, the Rayyan® software (Ouzzani et al., 2016) will be used. Data extraction was performed using Microsoft Excel® spreadsheets and included: (1) publication characteristics (authors, year, country, journal, and language), (2) bibliometric metrics (number of citations, co-authorship networks, journal impact, and funding sources), and (3) intervention characteristics (type, duration, components, and outcomes). The results will be presented in tables, graphs, and network maps, enabling the identification of trends, gaps, and patterns in the scientific literature.

本研究为文献计量综述（bibliometric review），旨在全面梳理针对减重手术（bariatric surgery）术前康复方案的科学研究产出全貌。检索共覆盖8个数据库（PsycNet、Cochrane、EMBASE、LILACS、PubMed、ScienceDirect、Scopus及Web of Science）及灰色文献源谷歌学术（Google Scholar），纳入截至2025年3月发表的全部相关研究。研究筛选严格遵循预先设定的纳入排除标准，由两名研究者独立完成，若出现意见分歧则咨询第三名评审员进行裁决。该筛选流程分为两个连续阶段：首先进行标题与摘要筛查，随后对初步判定为相关的研究开展全文阅读。本流程将采用Rayyan®软件（Ouzzani等人，2016）完成。数据提取工作借助Microsoft Excel®电子表格完成，提取内容涵盖：(1) 发表特征（作者、发表年份、所属国家、刊载期刊及语言）；(2) 文献计量指标（被引频次、合著者网络、期刊影响因子及资助来源）；(3) 干预特征（方案类型、持续时长、组成要素及结局指标）。研究结果将以表格、统计图及网络图的形式呈现，可助力识别该领域科学文献中的研究趋势、空白及分布模式。
