Abisko treeline gradient

This study looks into the mechanisms underlying belowground nitrogen cycling and carbon storage across the subarctic-alpine treeline in northern Sweden. We combine vegetation surveys with soil chemical analyses and metabarcoding of fungal markers across vertical soil profiles to utilize small scale spatial patterns in drivers and processes to understand underpinnings of the belowground carbon sink strength.

本研究旨在解析瑞典北部亚寒带-高山林线区域内地下氮循环与碳储存的内在调控机制。研究团队结合植被调查、土壤化学分析，以及沿土壤垂直剖面开展的真菌标记物元条形码分析（metabarcoding），通过解析驱动因子与相关生态过程的小尺度空间格局，阐明地下碳汇强度的核心机制。
