VPRS 19530 Patients' Comments Books

This series comprises volumes recording comments from patients at the Melbourne Convalescent Home for Women (VA 5292). During their stay at the Home, patients were asked a range of questions on various topics including the general treatment of patients, services provided by the Home, complaints and areas of concern, and incidences of religious discrimination. By 1891, standardised questions had been dropped in favour of the patient providing a general statement concerning their stay at the Home.
