退耕还林(草)工程为合理利用土地资源、增加林草植被、再造秀美山川、维护国家生态安全，实现人与自然和谐共进而实施的一项重大生态工程。东北地区的退耕还林工程对于东北的可持续发展有着重要的作用。本数据集主要包括2000年东北退耕还林工程区的遥感监测数据，可直观了解东北退耕还林工程区的变化情况。
The Grain for Green Project (GGP, also known as the Sloping Land Conversion Program) is a major ecological engineering initiative implemented to rationally utilize land resources, increase forest and grass vegetation, restore beautiful mountains and rivers, safeguard national ecological security, and achieve harmonious coexistence between humanity and nature. The Grain for Green Project in Northeast China plays a crucial role in the sustainable development of the region. This dataset primarily contains remote sensing monitoring data of the Grain for Green Project areas in Northeast China in 2000, enabling intuitive understanding of the changes in these project areas.
