赤松的天然杂交种。树皮呈灰黑色，鳞片状开裂。 25年生时平均树高 7.96 m，平均胸径 16.76 cm，平均材积 0.094 m3，分别超过对照樟子松 11.80%，43.86%和 100.0%。木材含水率 110.5%，抗弯强度 42.2 MPa，抗弯弹性模量 7210 MPa，冲击韧性 52 KJ/m2，端面、弦面和径面硬度分别为 1580 N、1430 N和 1400 N。
A natural hybrid of Pinus densiflora (red pine). The bark is grayish-black and exfoliates in scales. At the age of 25 years, the average tree height is 7.96 m, average diameter at breast height (DBH) is 16.76 cm, and average wood volume is 0.094 m³, which are 11.80%, 43.86% and 100.0% higher than those of the control Pinus sylvestris var. mongolica (Mongolian pine), respectively. The wood has a moisture content of 110.5%, bending strength of 42.2 MPa, modulus of elasticity in bending of 7210 MPa, and impact toughness of 52 kJ/m². The hardness values of the end, tangential and radial surfaces are 1580 N, 1430 N and 1400 N, respectively.
