The community composition and diversity of microalgae and microbes in different water environments of a small watershed in Huixian karst wetland, Guilin, China were investigated. For each water sample, the V4-V5 hypervariable regions of the 16S rRNA genes of prokaryotes and the 23S rRNA genes of algae were amplified. For each sediment sample, the V4-V5 hypervariable regions of the 16S rRNA genes of prokaryotes were amplified. The resulting amplicons were sequenced using the Illumina HiSeq 2500 platform.

本研究针对中国桂林会仙喀斯特湿地（Huixian karst wetland）内某小流域的不同水环境，开展了微藻（microalgae）与微生物（microbes）的群落组成及多样性调查分析。针对每份水体样本，分别扩增了原核生物（prokaryotes）16S rRNA基因的V4-V5高变区以及藻类23S rRNA基因。针对每份沉积物样本，仅扩增了原核生物16S rRNA基因的V4-V5高变区。所获得的扩增子（amplicon）采用Illumina HiSeq 2500测序平台完成测序。
