Persistence of biospheric organic carbon in the floodplains of lowland Himalayan rivers

This data-sheet contains the values for following variables- organic carbon concentration (Corg), 𝛿13Corg (carbon isotope values of soil organic carbon), 𝛿13CSC (carbon isotope values of soil carbonate), 𝛿18OSC (oxygen isotope value of soil carbonates), Alox (aluminum oxide), Feox (iron oxide) and FSF (Fine sediment fraction) and clay percentage with additional information regarding the sample names and the depth (meters) of corresponding samples. Each of the five sheets of the excel file contains the data for the corresponding sample sites (Chambal, BTY, BTY-D, Sahibganj and IISERK) used in this study. The Random Forest Regression code contains the model code with the parameters for the BTYD site as an example.本数据集说明表收录了以下变量的相关数值：有机碳浓度（organic carbon concentration, Corg）、土壤有机碳碳同位素值（carbon isotope values of soil organic carbon, 𝛿13Corg）、土壤碳酸盐碳同位素值（carbon isotope values of soil carbonate, 𝛿13CSC）、土壤碳酸盐氧同位素值（oxygen isotope value of soil carbonates, 𝛿18OSC）、氧化铝（aluminum oxide, Alox）、氧化铁（iron oxide, Feox）、细沉积物组分（Fine sediment fraction, FSF）及黏土占比（clay percentage），同时附带样本名称与对应样本的采样深度（单位：米）等相关信息。本Excel文件内含5个工作表，分别对应本研究使用的5个采样点位：昌巴尔（Chambal）、BTY、BTY-D、萨希卜甘杰（Sahibganj）与IISERK。 本随机森林回归代码包含以BTYD站点为例的模型代码及参数配置。
