This study was carried out to investigate the microbial community involved in the different stages of the anaerobic fermentation of food waste using a leach bed reactor system. The ultimate goal was to rapidly hydrolyse the food waste components and ferment the hydrolysate into valuable organic acids. 16S rRNA profiling of bacteria community and metaproteomics was used to investigate the microorganisms involved in the different food waste breakdowns in the system.
本研究采用渗滤床反应器(leach bed reactor)系统,探究餐厨垃圾厌氧发酵不同阶段所涉及的微生物群落。本研究的最终目标为快速水解餐厨垃圾组分,并将水解产物发酵为具有应用价值的有机酸。本研究通过细菌群落16S核糖体RNA(16S rRNA)测序分析与宏蛋白质组学(metaproteomics)技术,对系统中参与餐厨垃圾降解的各类微生物进行了研究。
