This study looks into shifts in the microbial communities that occur between agriculture, urban, and undisturbed sites due to anthropogenic influences such as runoff. High-throughput 16S rRNA sequencing was conducted on 112 water samples taken over a 14-month period from September 2016 to November 2017. Nineteen metadata factors were measured for 87 of the samples to investigate environmental effects
