This work contains the infrared thermography datasets for Victrex PAEK AM 200, a pure PAEK based polymer designed for Material Extrusion (MEX), and Victrex LMPAEK 211, a PAEK based composite with 10% carbon fibre. LMPAEK 211 can be considered to be thermally similar to PAEK AM 200.Thermal data was obtained using an Optris XI 400 IR camera, placed within a 3D Gence F340 MEX printer, and analysed within the Optris PIX connect software. The datasets provided contain the raw video files obtained and the extracted data in spreadsheet format. The spreadsheets datasets contain the recorded temperatures of the materials using two methods, Method 1 and 2. Method 1 utilizes a fixed reference within the video recordings to place a measurement pixel, whilst Method 2 restricts the visible palette to display only the heat trail of the nozzle and extruded polymer in order to place the measuring pixel.
