Dataset from "Advancing land-sea integration for ecologically meaningful coastal conservation and management". <br>This dataset is an ESRI shapefile of South Africa's ecologically determined coastal zone, developed by fine-scale mapping of a seashore zip (comprising a backshore and shore zone) that seamlessly joins the existing terrestrial National Vegetation Map (see: http://bgis.sanbi.org/Projects/Detail/60), National Estuaries Map, and National Marine Map.<br>It is available on South Africa's National Integrated Coastal Map Project page: http://bgis.sanbi.org/Projects/Detail/213

本数据集源自论文《推进陆海统筹以开展具有生态意义的海岸保护与管理》（Advancing land-sea integration for ecologically meaningful coastal conservation and management）。
本数据集为南非经生态界定的海岸带ESRI形状文件（ESRI shapefile），通过对包含后滨与滨岸带的海岸带区段进行精细制图开发构建，可与现有陆地国家植被地图（详见：http://bgis.sanbi.org/Projects/Detail/60）、国家河口地图及国家海洋地图实现无缝衔接。
