THE SIGNIFICANCE OF CONCEPTUAL FRAME THEORY IN LINGUOCULTURAL RESEARCH

Conceptual Frame Theory (CFT) provides a framework for understanding how humans structure knowledge and interpret experiences through culturally embedded mental schemas. This study investigates the content, structure, and cultural significance of conceptual frames in English and Uzbek, focusing on key concepts such as freedom, family, hospitality, respect, success, and childhood. A multi-method approach was employed, combining cognitive-conceptual analysis, discourse analysis, corpus-based investigation, and digital linguocultural analysis.概念框架理论（Conceptual Frame Theory，简称CFT）为理解人类如何通过植根于文化的心理图式构建知识、阐释经验提供了分析框架。本研究以英语与乌兹别克语中的概念框架为考察对象，探讨其内容、结构与文化意义，重点关注自由、家庭、好客、尊重、成功与童年等核心概念。本研究采用多方法研究路径，融合认知-概念分析、话语分析、语料库研究以及数字语言文化分析等研究方法。
