This file contains a dataset of N=108 Chinese EFL learners' IMMS (<i>Instructional Materials Motivation Survey</i>) scores. In this file, "No." refers to the number of students in each group (N=54 in both the experimental group and control group). "Student ID" is the participant's identification number at the university where this research was conducted. The "group" category designates whether a participant belongs to the experimental group, denoted by "e," or the control group, indicated by "c." "C", "A" ,"R", and "S" correspond to the subscales of motivations, representing "Confidence", "Attention", "Relevance", and "Satisfaction" respectively. Finally, the "total" category displays the participant's total IMMS score.
