Presence of adults during the larval stage on pupal and adult microbiomes

This study characterises the effects of the presence of adult males in the environment during development on the bacterial component of the microbiome composition of Drosophila melanogaster fruit flies, finding that this causes changes in pupal microbiome that does not continue into adulthood.
