Whole genome sequence of Streptomyces sp. CMC78

Streptomyces sp. CMC78 is a rice straw degrading psychrotrophic bacterium isolated from the tomato cultivated greenhouse soil in Toride city, Japan. Here, we determined its whole-genome sequence to characterize the genetic feature associated with organic compound degradation and low-temparature tolerance.链霉菌属（Streptomyces）菌株CMC78是一株可降解稻草的嗜冷细菌，分离自日本取手市番茄种植温室土壤。本研究测定了该菌株的全基因组序列，以解析其与有机化合物降解及低温耐受相关的遗传特征。
