海廢清除網（MDCN）指引手冊

海洋委員會海洋保育署為能有效移除海洋廢棄物，整合政府公部門及民間單位，設置「海洋廢棄物清除網（Marine Debris Cleanup Network，MDCN）」，透過將海洋廢棄物分級、簡化通報程序，針對特殊或緊急狀況的海廢做最安全且有效率的移除，民眾如發現海廢可依指引手冊指示向相關單位進行通報。其中將寶特瓶、鐵鋁罐、小型漁網等小型且較易清除之廢棄物列為一級廢棄物，大型漁網或深度較深之廢棄物則列為二級廢棄物。

To effectively remove marine debris, the Marine Conservation Agency of the Ocean Affairs Council has integrated government departments and private entities to establish the Marine Debris Cleanup Network (MDCN). By classifying marine debris and simplifying reporting procedures, the network enables the safest and most efficient removal of marine debris in special or emergency situations. Members of the public who discover marine debris may report it to relevant units in accordance with the guidance manual. Specifically, small and easily removable debris such as PET bottles, iron and aluminum cans, and small fishing nets are categorized as Grade 1 marine debris, while large fishing nets or debris located at relatively great depths are categorized as Grade 2 marine debris.
