The vForm-xSteels benchmark aims to evaluate the current state-of-the-art practices of using heterogeneous specimens and DIC techniques to characterise the hardening and anisotropy behaviour of metals. This is done to produce well-calibrated material constitutive models for precise manufacturing simulation design purposes. Therefore, both the experimental and numerical stages required for the behavior characterization are analysed and the current practices in the framework of MT2.0 are assessed. All commercial and university-designed tools and equipment can be used.
The available dataset is from the experimental tests conducted for the vForm-xSteels benchmark. A known and simple specimen geometry (the heterogeneous dog-bone specimen) was used in a uniaxial tensile test at different material orientations (0, 45, and 90 degrees from the rolling directions).

vForm-xSteels基准测试旨在评估当前采用异质试样与数字图像相关(Digital Image Correlation,DIC)技术表征金属硬化与各向异性行为的前沿实践。此举旨在构建经过精准校准的材料本构模型,以支撑精准制造仿真的设计工作。因此,本研究对行为表征所需的实验与数值分析全流程均开展了剖析,并评估了MT2.0框架下的当前前沿实践。所有商用及高校自研的工具与设备均可使用。
本次可用数据集源自为vForm-xSteels基准测试开展的实验测试。实验采用了一款通用简洁的试样构型——异质狗骨形试样,针对与轧制方向呈0°、45°、90°的不同材料取向完成了单轴拉伸试验。
