Giant gourami, Osphronemus goramy, Lacepède (1801) culture of different production systems has significantly improved fish production yields and food security in Indonesia. This study analyzed nutrient loadings and characteristics farms of giant gourami in the floating cages in Lake Maninjau.Estimates of C, N and P loads from floating cages, feeding rate, feed efficiency and gross yield a presented in this study were made from production records, production cycle, harvests, daily feed and fish mortality records were collected from fish farmers for 20 units. Elemental composition analysis of feed and fish were determined by standard methods of the AOAC. The data on the C, N and P composition of fish and feed were combined with stocking and harvesting information and used in mass balance equations to estimate C, N and P loads from floating cages.Apart from estimating C, N and P load from the floating net cages released into the water bodies. Stocking density rates for each cage are recorded, for determine their daily feeding rates. Then, fish production records were analyzed to determined nutrient wastes from giant gourami fish farming. For estimating stocking density in aquaculture fish cages, we used equation Schmittou.
巨足鲈(Giant gourami,学名Osphronemus goramy, Lacepède, 1801)的不同养殖模式,已显著提升了印度尼西亚的鱼类养殖产量与粮食安全保障水平。本研究针对马宁焦湖(Lake Maninjau)内浮式网箱养殖的巨足鲈,分析其养殖系统的营养盐负荷与养殖场特征。本研究从20个养殖网箱的养殖农户处采集了生产记录、养殖周期、收获数据、每日投喂量及鱼类死亡率等数据,据此估算浮式网箱的碳(C)、氮(N)、磷(P)负荷、投喂率、饲料转化率与总产量。饲料与鱼类的元素组成分析均采用美国官方分析化学家协会(Association of Official Analytical Chemists,AOAC)的标准方法完成。研究人员将鱼类与饲料的碳、氮、磷组成数据,与放养及收获信息相结合,通过质量平衡方程估算浮式网箱向水体排放的碳、氮、磷负荷。本研究除完成上述浮式网箱营养盐负荷估算外,还记录了每个网箱的放养密度以计算其每日投喂率;随后通过分析鱼类养殖生产记录,测算巨足鲈养殖产生的营养盐废弃物。本研究采用施米托公式(Schmittou equation)估算水产养殖网箱的放养密度。
