A georeferenced database of 629,955 unique in-channel anthropogenic barriers across 36 European countries, developed by the AMBER project (Adaptive Management of Barriers in European Rivers) funded by the EU Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation Programme, with grant agreement number 689682. Data for Figure 1 and Table 1: Unique records of in-channel anthropogenic barriers in Europe (from the AMBER Barrier Atlas).
