This survey aims to gather information about the experiences of highly gifted PhD and postdoctoral students, focusing on their learning challenges and supervision needs. The survey commences with demographic inquiries, including gender, age, and field of expertise. It then proceeds to address the subject of giftedness diagnosis and IQ. Subsequently, the survey delves into the academic challenges encountered during the pursuit of a Bachelor's or Master's degree and doctoral research through the use of open-ended questions. The survey also investigates coping strategies and experiences with supervision, with respondents invited to describe effective and ineffective strategies. Additionally, the survey addresses whether respondents' needs related to their high ability are being met and if they have discussed this with their supervisors. Finally, it gauges interest in academic peer networking opportunities for highly gifted individuals. The survey combines multiple-choice and open-ended questions, allowing for both quantitative and qualitative data collection. It emphasizes confidentiality and will enable respondents to receive results or participate in follow-up questions.
