This dataset contains major and minor element contents for feldspathic Apollo 16 impact melt 60635,19. The sample was digested using HF and HNO3 before being brought into solution prior to analyzing with an Inductively Coupled Plasma-Optical Emission Spectrometer (ICP-OES) at the University of Notre Dame's Center for Environmental Science and Technology (CEST). SiO2 is determined by difference due to Si being volatilized in the acid digestion process as SiF4.
本数据集收录长英质阿波罗16号冲击熔融岩样品60635,19的主量元素与次要元素含量。该样品先以氢氟酸(HF)与硝酸(HNO3)完成酸消解,待制备为溶液后,送至圣母大学(University of Notre Dame)环境科学与技术中心(Center for Environmental Science and Technology, CEST),通过电感耦合等离子体光发射光谱仪(Inductively Coupled Plasma-Optical Emission Spectrometer, ICP-OES)开展分析。由于在酸消解流程中硅会以四氟化硅(SiF4)的形式挥发损失,因此二氧化硅(SiO2)采用差减法进行测定。
