Transcriptome profiles of four cell types from the choanoflagellate Salpingoeca rosetta : Slow Swimmers, Rosettes, Fast Swimmers, and Thecate Overall design: Slow Swimmer, Rosette, and Thecate cell type were grown to mid-log phase at 22°C before harvesting mRNA. Rosettes were induced from slow swimmers with outer membrane vesicles from the bacterium Algoriphagus machipongonensis. Fast swimmers were derived from Slow Swimmers by growing to stationary phase and heat shocking at 37°C for 2.75 h.

本数据集包含领鞭毛虫(choanoflagellate)玫瑰领鞭虫(Salpingoeca rosetta)四种细胞类型的转录组谱,涉及的细胞类型分别为慢速泳动细胞、簇状细胞、快速泳动细胞与被膜细胞。实验整体设计如下: 慢速泳动细胞、簇状细胞与被膜细胞均在22℃下培养至对数生长中期,随后收集信使RNA(mRNA)进行转录组分析。其中,簇状细胞由慢速泳动细胞经细菌Algoriphagus machipongonensis的外膜囊泡(outer membrane vesicles)诱导产生;快速泳动细胞则由慢速泳动细胞经培养至稳定期后,于37℃热激2.75小时获得。
