Southern region of Kyrgyzstan: modernity and ethno-demographic development

This article is investigating southern region of Kyrgyzstan, its modernity and ethno-demographic development. Transition to market relations, socio-economic and political reforms, social and economic instability in the country in early years of sovereignty were decisively influenced by the dynamics and character of population life. That is why a deep and comprehensive study of Republics ethno-demographic process is relevant. In this work, based on statistical data, general description of population dynamics, its ethnic composition and migration processes in current ethno-demographic situation were described.

本文聚焦吉尔吉斯斯坦南部地区，探讨其现代化进程与民族人口（ethno-demographic）发展态势。该国主权独立初期的向市场经济转型、社会经济与政治改革以及社会经济动荡，均受到人口生活动态与特征的显著影响。正因如此，对吉尔吉斯共和国民族人口过程开展深入全面的研究具有重要现实意义。本研究依托统计数据，对当前民族人口形势下的人口动态、民族构成与移民进程进行了系统性阐述。
