Background: N6-methyladenosine (m6A) constitutes the most abundant mRNA modification, being catalyzed by methyltransferase-like 3 (METTL3), the sole catalytic subunit in the methyltransferase complex. Increasing evidences reveals that METTL3 plays important roles under physiological and pathological conditions, however, its function in promoting osteosarcoma has just begun.
研究背景:N6-甲基腺嘌呤(N6-methyladenosine, m6A)是目前最为丰富的信使核糖核酸(mRNA)修饰类型,由甲基转移酶复合物中唯一的催化亚基甲基转移酶样3(methyltransferase-like 3, METTL3)催化完成。越来越多的研究证据表明,METTL3在生理与病理条件下均发挥重要调控作用,但其在促进骨肉瘤(osteosarcoma)发生发展中的功能研究尚处于起步阶段。
