Using an optimization framework (SCONE) and a musculoskeletal modeling package (OpenSim), we generated realistic simulations of walking at many speeds. We then modeled muscle weakness or contracture in the ankle plantarflexor muscles to study how these deficits contribute to observed gait changes.This project provides results from all of our simulations. We also provide Docker build instructions and SCONE setup files for others to reproduce our results. <br/><br/>This project includes the following software/data packages: <br/> <ul> <li> <a href="https://simtk.org/frs?group_id=1631#pack_2093">Results </a> : Results files for all simulations. Three packages can be found below that are related to different simulations: 1) unimpaired walking at many target speeds and self-selected speed; 2) walking with plantarflexor weakness; and 3) walking with plantarflexor contracture. Please refer to the descriptions below and the README.txt files in each package for more details. </li> <li> <a href="https://simtk.org/frs?group_id=1631#pack_2098">SCONE setup files </a> : Setup files to re-run optimizations starting with the optimized parameters from the paper. These are useful for preforming future studies, or re-optimizing for solutions in your own software environment. </li> <li> <a href="https://simtk.org/frs?group_id=1631#pack_2094">Docker files </a> : All files needed to build a Docker image and to regenerate the states files for most simulations. Please refer to the descriptions below and the README.txt files in each package for more details. </li> </ul>
