Processed flow field dataset for "Flow structure characteristics in bend-straightened reaches of continuous bend channels"

This dataset provides the main flow field data obtained from the numerical simulations reported in the paper. The data are released for reference, verification, and further analysis by interested readers. The dataset includes three dimensional spatial coordinates, velocity components, fluid volume fraction, and turbulent kinetic energy under different simulation cases. The data are provided in .dat format and can be read and visualized using MATLAB, Python, or other post-processing software. For consistency with the paper, the coordinate system in this dataset has been adjusted according to the coordinate definition used in the manuscript. The directions of the coordinate axes, the coordinate origin, and the arrangement of the variables are consistent with the descriptions in the paper. Based on the released data, readers may extract sectional flow fields, free-surface distributions, turbulent kinetic energy distributions, and other relevant hydrodynamic parameters according to their own research needs. The purpose of releasing this dataset is to improve the reference value and reproducibility of the reported results and to provide supporting data for numerical simulation and comparative studies of similar hydrodynamic processes.
