A multidisciplinary approach to evaluate the presence of hepatic and cardiac abnormalities in patients with post-acute COVID-19 syndrome – a pilot study

This study aims to evaluate the presence of cardiac and liver injuries in patients with post-acute COVID-19 syndrome using transthoracic echocardiography (TTE) and liver elastography (LE). This is a pilot study performed by researchers from the "Victor Babes" University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Timisoara, Romania, Internal Medicine II Department, Disciplines of Gastroenterology and Cardiology.

本研究旨在采用经胸超声心动图（transthoracic echocardiography, TTE）与肝脏弹性成像（liver elastography, LE），评估新冠急性期后综合征（post-acute COVID-19 syndrome）患者的心脏与肝脏损伤发生情况。此项预试验研究由罗马尼亚蒂米什瓦拉市“维克托·巴贝什”医科大学第二内科教研室（胃肠病学与心脏病学学组）的研究人员开展。
