Soil texture, vis-NIR spectra and derived soil chemistry were taken from soils sampled at Chequamegon Heterogeneous Ecosystem Energy-balance Study Enabled by a High-density Extensive Array of Detectors (CHEESEHEAD) ISFS forest sites. All soil samples were taken on September 28, 2019. Samples were taken within 5 m of the tower. Tower center coordinates are used. All samples were of the top 0-15 cm of soil mixed. They were then air-dried, ground, and sieved through a 2-mm sieve for analysis. 土壤质地、可见-近红外光谱(visible–near infrared, vis-NIR)及衍生土壤化学属性数据,均采集自依托高密度广域探测器阵列开展的切夸梅贡异质生态系统能量平衡研究(Chequamegon Heterogeneous Ecosystem Energy-balance Study Enabled by a High-density Extensive Array of Detectors, 缩写CHEESEHEAD)的ISFS森林样地的土壤样本。所有土壤样本均采集于2019年9月28日,采样点均位于观测塔周边5米范围内,以观测塔中心坐标作为定位基准。所有样本均取自表层0-15厘米的混合土壤,随后经风干、研磨,并通过2毫米孔径筛网筛分后用于分析测试。如需了解本数据集以及粒径分析、可见-近红外光谱(vis-NIR)和便携式X射线荧光光谱(portable X-ray fluorescence, PXRF)的相关细节,请参阅本数据集的说明文档。
