In 2020, Germany had the highest number of over-the-top (OTT) subscription video-on-demand (SVoD) in the European Union, amounting to around 33 million that year. The United Kingdom and France ranked second and third with roughly 31.8 and 15.5 million unique subscribers, respectively.
