Geologic Map of Amundsen Crater near the Lunar South Pole

This dataset contains our geologic map of the ~100 km diameter Amundsen crater near the lunar south pole and is part of a publication in the Planetary Science Journal by Wueller et al. (2024). The study region is of high interest for future exploration missions because it contains extensive Permanent Shadow Regions (PSRs), a nearly flat crater floor, and is close to the SPA outer rim.
