The Racó Forums Corpus is a Catalan user-generated text corpus consisting of 19 million sentences, sourced from the Racó Català forum. It is primarily designed for pre-training language models and word representation learning, with training and validation splits provided. The dataset has been structurally processed and anonymized: usernames and email addresses have been removed and replaced with random Catalan given names. This corpus is licensed under the CC-BY-NC 4.0 license, maintained by the Text Mining Unit (TeMU) at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC), and funded by the Department of Vicepresidència i de Polítiques Digitals i Territori of the Government of Catalonia under the framework of Projecte AINA.
