Trolling experiences in an Australian sample of adolescents

This data was collected online from a sample of 157 Australian adolescents aged 13-18 years between June 2021 and August 2022. After providing written consent, participants responded to a series of demographic questions, questions related to social media/internet use, the Global Assessment of Internet Trolling-Revised, the Adolescent Measure of Empathy and Sympathy, the Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale, the Youth Psychopathy Traits Inventory-Short Version, the Social Rewards Questionnaire, the Short Sadistic Impulse Scale, and a series of questions related to the experience of trolling. Ethical approval for this study was granted by the University of Southern Queensland Human Research Ethics Committee (Approval No. H17REA260).
