Aortic single-cell RNA sequencing data from second heart field lineage traced mice with Fbn1C1041G/+ and control mice. Overall design: Aortic tissue from 16-week-old control and Fbn1C1041G/+ (Marfan syndrome) mice with transgenic second heart field lineage tracing cre-lox model (Nkx2-5-cre) was subjected to tissue digestion and single-cell RNA sequencing. Male and female replicate pools from each genotype were used, samples were processed from lineage positive and negative cell pools, yielding 8 total samples.
