VTEC map files, magnetometer data and DMSP data for the May 2024 geomagnetic storm

The dataset contains data of global absolute vertical total electron content (VTEC), of magnetometers, and of DMSP satellites for the 10-11 May 2024 geomagnetic superstorm. The VTEC maps are 1*1 degree resolution, originally calculated by the MIT. The dataset contains the storm days (10-11 May 2024), but also geomagnetically quiet days. Also, you can find data for previous superstorms of July 2000, November 2001, October 2003, November 2003, November 2004, and the March 2015 storm. Also, the dataset contain geomagnetically quiet days that can be used to calculate the reference values for these events. The dataset also includes data from 3 magnetometers located in South America: JICA, PUIR, MAA, for the storm days (10-11 May 2024), and for the the quiet day (May 2024). DMSP data are provided for 1-13 May 2024, for satellites F16, F17, F18.本数据集包含2024年5月10日至11日地磁超级风暴相关的全球绝对垂直总电子含量（Vertical Total Electron Content，VTEC）、磁力计数据以及国防气象卫星计划（Defense Meteorological Satellite Program，DMSP）卫星观测数据。 该VTEC地图空间分辨率为1°×1°，最初由麻省理工学院（Massachusetts Institute of Technology，MIT）计算生成。数据集不仅涵盖本次风暴时段（2024年5月10日至11日）的观测数据，还包含地磁平静日数据；此外还收录了2000年7月、2001年11月、2003年10月、2003年11月、2004年11月及2015年3月历次超级地磁风暴的相关数据，同时附带可用于计算上述事件参考基准值的地磁平静日数据。 数据集还包含2024年5月风暴时段及当月地磁平静日期间，位于南美洲的3台磁力计（站点编号分别为JICA、PUIR、MAA）的观测数据。 本数据集还提供了2024年5月1日至13日期间，DMSP卫星F16、F17、F18的观测数据。
