Bexar County, Texas Karst Zones

<p>This dataset examines the effects the geology of Bexar County, Texas has on the distribution of karst invertebrates listed under the Endangered Species Act.  It delineates five zones that identified the probability of the presence of rare or endemic karst invertebrate species.  The five zones are: </p><ul><li>Zone 1.  Areas known to contain listed invertebrate karst species.</li><li>Zone 2.  Areas having a high probability of containing suitable habitat for listed invertebrate karst species.</li><li>Zone 3.  Areas that probably do not contain listed invertebrate karst species.</li><li>Zone 4.  Areas which require further research but are generally equivalent to Zone 3, although they may include sections which could be classified as Zone 2 or Zone 5 as more information becomes available.</li><li>Zone 5.  Areas which do not contain listed invertebrate karst species.</li></ul><p><br /></p>
