The GPS radiosonde system is a type of atmospheric sounding instrument used in the fields of environmental science and technology and resource science and technology. During the 25th Chinese National Antarctic Research Expedition, radiosondes were deployed over the Southern Ocean. This dataset consists of GPS radiosonde observation data collected over the Southern Ocean during the 25th Chinese National Antarctic Research Expedition, including parameters such as time, longitude, latitude, altitude, temperature, wind speed, wind direction, and the number of tracked satellites.
