This paper is the second installment in the Grindflow Research Series, following “The Intelligence Deficit in Food Grinding MSMEs.” While the first paper established the structural problem—systemic inefficiencies, quality losses, and the absence of monitoring intelligence—this paper focuses on the requirements, constraints, and strategic realities of building a viable solution for this market.Rather than proposing a specific product or architecture, this work defines the non-negotiable conditions that any successful intelligence system must satisfy in the MSME food processing sector. These include immediate day-one value delivery, offline reliability, durability in harsh industrial environments, zero-friction operator experience, and verifiable quality output.The paper introduces a dual-market framework, identifying both MSMEs and enterprise players as critical but interdependent segments. It analyzes why this market has remained unserved despite strong economic incentives, highlighting structural gaps across enterprise IoT vendors, agtech startups, and consumer IoT companies.A detailed SWOT analysis of the category provides an honest assessment of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats, emphasizing that the primary risks are execution-based rather than market-based.
