Coronavirus Genome Sequencing Project for J. Craig Venter Institute. Coronaviridae

The coronavirus sequencing project at JCVI is a collaborative effort with multiple investigators to sequence different alpha and beta coronavirus from human and animals. The specific aims and the scale are different for each study but the broad objectives are to track genomic diversity, virus mutation, adaptation and pathogenesis of coronavirus in humans, and other mammals.

JCVI主导的冠状病毒测序项目为多研究者协作计划，旨在对人类与动物来源的各类α冠状病毒（Alphacoronavirus）和β冠状病毒（Betacoronavirus）进行测序。尽管各子研究的具体目标与实施规模各不相同，但整体研究宗旨均为追踪冠状病毒（感染人类及其他哺乳动物）的基因组多样性、病毒突变、适应性及致病机制。
